Be it a developing or developed country everyone seems to have a soft corner for the Central Asia

Lets closely look what’s happening for example Kazakhstan. Chinese have installed heavy machineries working 24/7 building roads that will connect towns with cities in Kazakhstan. Russians are taking special efforts in improving the electricity facility in the region.

In case of India ministers may not reach places , you can see them on the streets of Tashkent andbut bollywood guys does Dushanbe, Bollywood numbers provoke local people to break into impromptu jigs.

And the world knows about the Uncle Bush, his men are having tough time building schools and hospitals in Afghanistan. They couldn’t do things to create peace but at least they are doing these social activities in the middle of non-stop gunfire to woo citizen on humanitarian ground. The Indians are doing the same, at the risk of their lives.

True Side of the Picture: ‘Newton’s 3rd Law’: For every action (humanitarian activities) there is equal and opposite reaction (Oil n Gas, Oil n Gas, Oil n Gas, Oil n Gas…)
In the recent years, the Americans have several bases in Central Asia, including Afghanistan. The Russians, Nato and Chinese too have established military posts in the region. Even India can claim to have set up an air defence unit in Tajikistan.

Oil suppliers bleeding with the Oil prices soaring as high as USD 147 per barrel and expected to touch milestone of USD 200 per barrel, unquestionably another oil shock is nearing. India and China energy-hungry economies owing to their booming economies are considered as villains If not the cause but boosting the crisis situation.
In a report last week, the International Energy Agency (IEA) spoke about two future scenarios — the growth of "long-term demand led by China and India..." and "the supply threats, including increasing conflict...."

US-Israel attack on Iran could further worsen the situation. Nothing is permanent Oil sooner or later will become the history, the energy power play is shifting from the Middle East to Central Asia. As their economies demand more and more fuel, both India and China are focusing on the region to ensure an interrupted supply of oil and gas.

There are two teams playing for the crown: on one side if it’s Russians along with Chinese and on the other side its US. India seems to be joining hands with US by going ahead with IAEA nuclear deal. US have already started acting as India’s coach in hunt for Oil, by suggesting India to focus on Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. The opening of China-Kazakhstan pipeline in December 2007, China has already secured much of the Kazakh oil. Working on a plan of making a new export corridor stretching from Kazakhstan's oil-rich Caspian basin to China, Beijing is making sure that its oil supplies are not disrupted by a conflict, as is the case with present oil deliveries from the Persian Gulf and Sudan.

Who so ever wins…but Oil is soon gonna be history…..

Oil Rig Manufacturers: US

Rig manufacturers takes a breather with the increasing demand for rigs across the world. The boom in drilling activities has shaken the rig-building industry out of a 2-decade slumber. And the dramatic jump in demand for both new and refurbished rigs is leaving many companies with maxed-out capacity and component shortages.

Houston-based IDM Equipment, which specializes in AC rigs, has no manufacturing slots available until the second quarter 2007, according to sales manager Barry Olsen. And in Odessa, Texas, MD Cowan is making “super-single” rigs that are smaller than conventional rigs and require only 2 workers to operate. President Mike Cowan said his company is also booked through mid-2007. It put out 7 rigs in 2005, doubled production to 14 rigs this year, and plans to push capacity to 24 in 2007. That’s nearly a 250% growth over 2 years. “We’re increasing our capacity as much as we can and as fast as we can,” Mr Cowan said. “We also do rig refurbishments, but the newbuilds are taking over the refurbs. There’s nothing left to refurbish anymore. The used inventory is exhausted. They’re gone.”

If you are professional/consultant/curious about Oil Rig Industry then for detalied report on Oil Rig Industry you can contact me on saumil.shrivastava@gmail.com.
